Steve Shannon is the immediate past President of the Northern Virginia Democratic Business Council and an attorney with the Fairfax law firm of Odin, Feldman & Pittleman, PC.  Mr. Shannon’s legal practice focuses primarily on representing small to mid-sized companies on litigation, transactional and general counseling matters.

Mr. Shannon is active in public life. He and his wife, Abby Shannon, co-founded the Metropolitan Washington AMBER Alert program in 2001, designed to recover abducted children.  He is a former state prosecutor who served for three terms in the Virginia General Assembly.  In 2009, Mr. Shannon was the Democratic nominee for Attorney General of Virginia.
