Northern VA Dem Business Council Unveils New Website

Arlington, VA -- The Northern Virginia Democratic Business Council (NVDBC) today unveiled its new website which can be found at www.nvdembiz.org. NVDBC was founded in February, 2003 to provide opportunities for Democrats and like-minded independents to meet and network with like-minded professionals, hear from and interact with elected officials, bring speakers and programs of interest to the Democratic business community, and meet candidates for local, state and federal office.

"Having a new website will allow us to more effectively communicate with our members about events and issues -- and in the end elect more Democrats in Virginia," said Jim Hock, President of NVDBC.  "This coming year, the Business Council will be more active in helping to enact real transportation solutions for Virginia and advocating for so many other issues that are important to businesses in the Commonwealth."

The NVDBC usually meets on the first Friday of each month from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  The first thirty minutes of every meeting are reserved for coffee and networking.  During the last hour, we meet for breakfast and hear from our speaker.  The group also hosts political fundraising and policy events on topics of interest to its members.
