This year presents the a stark choice
for Virginia voters and for individuals
interested in a pro-business agenda in the
Commonwealth. Jerry Kilgore and many
members of the Republican Party continued to
push a legislative program that many in the
business community feel is hostile to the
long-term economic interest of the Commonwealth
and jeopardizes the Government's ability to
provide basic services.
The NVDBC is pleased to welcome back Lt. Gov. Tim Kaine to our June, 2005 monthly meeting. This will be the Lt. Governor's third time speaking to our group. The Lt. Governor looks to continue Mark Warner's good-goverment/pro-business legacy. Additionally, the Lt. Governor is poised to announce the creation of Business Leaders for Kaine to assist with his pro-business economic development message. The NVDBC looks forward to the Lt. Governor's comments, insight, and vision for our future.
