The Election of Tim Kaine represented a triumph in political strategy.  Instead of following Governor Warner's urban-rural strategy, Gov. Kaine focused upon the urban, suburban, and fast-growing exurban areas to maximize his votes.  Find out what motivated this strategy.

The Republican Party's anti-tax orthodoxy also continues to alienate the mainstream business community with even Speaker Howell's own Chamber of Commerce going against his extreme positions.  Check out these stats:

Annual delay per rush-hour traveler in 1982: 21 hours
Annual delay per rush-hour traveler in 2002: 67 hours
Congestion cost in 1982: $282 million
Congestion cost in 2002: $2.27 billion (source)

Come hear Governor Kaine's plans to turn the business community reliably blue.

Finally, the Governor also has plans to revitalize and modernize the Democratic Party of Virginia to make it a competitive grassroots force throughout the Commonwealth.  New staff is in place and many plans are in the works.  Come find out how.
