The
Northern Virginia Democratic Business Council
is pleased to welcome our Democratic Party of
Virginia Chair, Richard C. Cranwell, who will
be the third Democratic Party Chair to address
the NVDBC.
Governor Tim Kaine has made party building a major goal of his tenure as Governor and the DPVA has announced a new "21-51" Strategy to bring Democratic majorities to both houses of the Virginia Legislature, and put Virginia in play in the 2008 presidential race. Come hear about the DPVA's campaign to:
- Invest in new technology initiatives;
- Raise new funding; and
- Recruit new candidates all across the Commonwealth.
The news from Richmond has also been someone conflicting on transportation and the budget. Chairman Cranwell offers unique insights into the current state of the body in which he served for nearly three decades before being redistricted out of a seat by the Republicans.
Come hear Chairman Cranwell's thoughts about our chances this Fall, the new DPVA, the current legislative session, and the future of our party.
