Networking Opportunities

The NVDBC typically meets on the first Friday of every month from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.  The first 30 minutes are reserved for coffee and networking.  During the final hour, we meet for breakfast and hear from our guest speaker(s).  $5 from every breakfast attendee goes to the NVDBC's Political Action Committee.

Recent guest speakers have included: Virginia's U.S. Senators, Members of Congress, statewide candidates, the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and members of the Virginia press corps.

NVDBC has also hosted regular fundraisers for its PAC.  Our 2009 fundraiser featured U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).  In 2008, we hosted renowned journalist and White House Press Corps member Helen Thomas.
