Mr. Cook is Counsel at the Washington, DC office of Liles Parker PLLC and focuses on representing healthcare entities and their trade associations on regulatory matters. Mr. Cook previously has headed the Washington, DC health law practices at several national law firms and has served as an attorney in the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as well as a special assistant U.S. attorney on detail to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Cook has served as the co-chair of a subgroup of Governor Kaine’s Health Care Transition Team, as a member of the Governor’s Health Care Work Group during the campaign and as a member of the Long Term Care Work Group for Governor Kaine’s Health Reform Commission and currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the Center for Public Service and Scholarship at Shenandoah University.
